These wood products have a huge gap in texture, hardness and durability compared to the genuine materials, but they are sold by merchants by confusing consumers' concepts, making it difficult for consumers to distinguish between the genuine and the fake, and causing them to spend high prices on inferior products. 

Insufficient drying and stability, prone to loss 

The material is hard and has a high density, and the control of moisture content is the key factor determining whether it will crack, deform or curl. Some small factories have poor equipment and do not meet the standards for drying processes, resulting in problems such as shrinkage and cracking of the products after delivery due to changes in environmental humidity. There are many post-sale disputes and a high loss rate. 

The prices are not transparent and there is a significant markup. 

The price is influenced by factors such as the origin of raw materials, texture, diameter, and processing techniques, and can vary greatly. Some merchants take advantage of the information gap to maliciously raise prices and pass off inferior products as good ones. At the same time, there are issues such as additional charges (such as polishing and upgrading of coating) later on, which result in actual expenditures far exceeding the budget. 

The craftsmanship levels vary greatly, resulting in waste of raw materials. 

The processing is very difficult, and it requires extremely high standards for cutting, grinding and painting processes. High-quality craftsmanship can maximize the preservation of its natural texture and feel. However, some small factories have poor craftsmanship, which not only affects the appearance and durability of the finished products, but also leads to the waste of scarce raw materials, further increasing the cost. 

These problems essentially stem from the scarcity of raw materials, the insufficient standardization of the industry, the imperfect system for identifying authenticity, and the excessive pursuit of profits by some merchants.
